Since TTR is closing for approximately a year, we wanted to find another similar place to go around Oct-November. Is Hedonism far more over the top compared to TTR? Is it a friendly party environment or a bunch of very pushy people that don't respect boundaries? I have heard multiple opinions on this subject from various sources.
We are going to try Hedo in November. Hopefully it will be a great experience. We are not in the LS but have heard the attitude at Hedo is similar to TTR.
Exact same party during the day. Some full on sex ,but not as much as you would guess. Same fun friendly people. Single men are fewer and much much more respectful. Not much of a dance party at night. Food is better and drinks are top shelf.
Pretty much as we've heard from friends, but also have heard horror stories. A couple years ago we met a large group of HEDO folks in July at TTR they were looking for something "new". We've stayed in touch with a couple of them. They didn't like TTR as much as Hedo......they said the food at TTR wasn't as varied and the people at TTR were more judgemental and cliqish. Yep........that was their opinion. Soooooooooooo.........we may give Hedo a roll next summer, but we're not going make any decisions until we see what unfolds in Cancun.

Just want to make sure there aren't raving bands of single guys lol Jamaica is probably too dangerous to explore, so I figure we would have to stay on the resort.
Hedo is awesome. Super friendly but ALL NUDE unless you stay on the prude side. It's pretty quiet over there. All the fun is on the naked side and you must be nude now. Not an over abundance of single guys prob bc the price point is higher for them as they cant share a room. That makes single rates 150% of the couples rate. Def try it!
Also pay attention to the groups that are going to be there when you are thinking of going. It makes a huge difference.
I explore Jamaica, freely.. Just keep your head about you and street smart.. Don't be flashy, etc. Seriously I have been there alone, and with my son, and walked into town, walked the beaches, ran the roads, took route taxis, went to road side stands etc.. Stayed in short money motels, hung out and watched domino games, learned the ways of the yardie.<--- That sounded so cool (ahahahaha) But seriously stop that don't leave the resort shit.. There are peddlers. And they will approach you.. Just say no thanks. Not maybe later, not I left my money in the room, not anything but no thanks.. And keep walking.. They typically don't bug me anymore.. Once you know the ways of the yardie it happens.. There are some really great, beautiful restaurants in town you would miss. Kuyaba, Xtabi, Ivan's at Catcha Flling Star, Rockhouse and a bunch more. Most of them will send transport down to you and you pay them when you go back. BTW I was a Negril expert on Tripadvisor for years and owned Negrilinfo.com for years also. I will be going to Hedo next year also. I love Negril and the people.. A little smile goes a long way with the workers and people in general. Any questions let me know.. Now Hedo is a lot of fun.. Same kind of fun, friendly, party awesome people.. Just naked. Funny story: Especially if you know me.. So my first time going there I was with my Ex. I was like "No fucking way I'm getting naked! Seriously I will go topless but I'm not taking my bottoms off!" So we get there and your first time everything is NEW. Seeing laughing naked people going to the nude side was my first new. And I'm like "WTF did I do coming here." Off to the nude beach we go.. With my suit.. Everyone is laughing and having fun.. And they can obviously see I'm a Hedo virgin.. Off we go to the beach. I'm freaking..... We go straight for the beach chairs. And my heart is racing. "OMG Everyone is naked! ugh!" So we lay there...... Finally we were like ok lets try it.. I'm stiff as a board scared.. BTW no one noticed but ahhhhhhh! So we're laying there....... and we get thirsty.. No fucking way I'm standing.... So off he goes to the nude bar..... I hear him talking... laughing.. I'm laying there... alone and naked..... Gets drinks comes back finally.. More drinks and he seems to take longer at the bar.. I hear him introduce himself (another NEW: Introducing yourself while nude) And during these bar breaks he is taking longer and laughing meeting.. Well phuck that! Off I go and start laughing and meeting (yes nude even!) Can I tell you by the end of the week I cried when I left.. Made great new friends and I didn't want to put my clothes on!!!! And still hate clothes.. lol Now our group parties at the disco late, and until they took out the slide would do that super late too. hahahaha So depending on the group, and what you're in to, its a blast! Or can be... :lotsofmichaelfs: The West End "One Love" bar crawl is a must too!!!
