News from oasis sens on ttr remodel

A couple of friends of ours are at OASIS SENS now and spoke with management about the TTR renovations. They are supposedly going to start a promotion during the shut down of TTR to get some of their clientele. They were informed to look for travel specials starting in May or June.
Sounds like this might be an effort to offer an alternative for TTR goers during the Reno period. The resort looks much nicer than GP. We'll probably give it a shot during the shutdown seeing how my husband and I are planning on being in Cancun from mid December till March.

 

Competition is always good

 

We stayed at GP before they changed management. The owner passed away and the family hired a company to run it I was told, people who stay there quite often said it has had troubles as a result.

I found it OK but it it's small and there's only one pool and no swim up bar. The tiki bar is OK but again it's very small, maybe a dozen stools around it. The staff were awesome but I've never stayed anywhere were they weren't.

I think Sens is a better choice for TTR refugees.

 

I stayed at Oasis Sens years ago, it was nice, but no late night party. They would play a movie on the wall and one bar stayed open. There was a disco but was never much fun. U got the impression that they wanted guests to leave the resort to party at the clubs. Disco and Bar and all resturants closed about 1 to 2 pm each night. Pools were closed early (around 8 pm) Now this was years ago.
Hopefully they can change all that around. TTR is all about the 24 hour party ...

 

Have any of you ever been to sens??Absolutely every where you move includes a flight of stairs and most times 2 or 3 flights,the beach is nice ,31 steps to go down to the only buffet and the same to go out,its ok but way too many stairs

 

well were booked, so I guess a trip to the gym is not needed this vac.

Management changed a couple of years ago. They definitely moved towards a sexier vibe.
They advertise LGBT friendly, and if any of you have gay friends, they know how to party. There are a few videos on YouTube and you can see they are trying to copy TTR. Foam parties, live DJ at the pool. They now allow toplessness at the pools and if you get one of the suites with the pools you can skinny dip the night away!

Still not TTR, but definitely looks like a good replacement during the Reno.
