Well after yesterday's big announcement I am a bit disappointed but also excited ! I had a trip in April 2017 booked as always but now cancelled due to renovations ! Hopefully pricing stays same or similar anyways so I can book for April 2018 ( so far away boo hoo) to see this new improved TTR and hopefully hasn't changed the general vibe and party atmosphere to much !! This however leaves me with nowhere to go April 2017 ?! I have looked around Europe for adult only but pretty much all of them are a "relaxed " vibe and that is not what I'm looking for ! Being from uk/Ireland i know of very little proper adult only hotels and just wondering does anyone have suggestions for a place and hopefully isn't too expensive lol much appreciated
We are trying to figure this out too... I think all of the addicts need to start talking about this! There's Hedo and Desire, or we can just take over a different resort all together.. Either way, it won't be Temptation!
Below is my post I put up on Facebook about this . You guys let me know where you're going, and we're along for the ride. As I stated below, you get enough of the same people in the right place and the Genesis will happen. So, now that I've had a day to process this and gather my thoughts here they are. On the whole these changes will be a positive for the resort. More restaurants, better amenities, better entertainment, Etc. I think we all knew that they needed an uplift of some kind and their ever ongoing maintenance just wasn't getting the job done. Once completed based upon the video of the upcoming changes as well as the general commentary around it it feels like it will lean more towards Desire then the Temptation we have always known. With 10 months off the market however someone may step in and offer an alternative that, while not TTR , becomes an acceptable substitute to a five-star Resort. There's a very good reason why Desire rarely sells out , despite having only 120 rooms. One of my key phrases has always been like a little cheeky in my Mexican vacation. This won't have it now so I'll be exploring and seeing what else is out there. And I won't be alone. So whatever the future holds for Temptation comma I'll be back to check it out at least once comma and the vibe feels right it'll be game time. In the picture shown it doesn't feel like that's a place where wearing a toga to dinner would be acceptable, LOL. And Temptation today always was. My only other concern would be for the staff, because I feel a lot of people will still come to the resorts however the money they would have spent on tips will now be spent on paying for their accommodations in the new renovated location. There was a comment yesterday that this should have been built elsewhere and called Temptation exclusive or Temptation premiere, and that was pretty wise in my opinion. All in all, I'm cautiously optimistic about the future here , what's a wait-and-see attitude abouts how this will all play out. Have a great day everybody Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
we were looking at the new Breathless that will be opening later this year as we were planing a april 2017 TTR trip and now have to change that.
We're wondering the same thing. We just finished our 6th trip April 1-8 and loved every moment. I'm not excited about this renovation. Like most of you, we love the people and atmosphere at TTR. I'm not looking forward to partying with 5 star resort people who might complain about the music being too loud, or give me a dirty look when I pull up my wife's skirt while she's dancing at paty O's. I couldnt care less about nicer rooms or bathrooms. That's not why I go to Mexico. I want to party and I want a safe environment for my wife to be able to go topless during the day and dress as scandalous as she wants to at night. Pretty disappointing overall. That said we're going somewhere next April....but no idea where.
EXACTLY> SO all of the April Addicts need a new home, and we can take the party anywhere. Our thoughts are that maybe it shouldn't be 5 star for a couple reasons: Lets face it, with the partying, fun loving, occasionally raunchy atmosphere we might not really fit in to well or even be wanted, and 5 stars prices more than a few out. And that includes Stephie and I. I think the key is affordable, fun, and a place to be ourselves and party, flirt, allow the ladies to run around in the skimpiest of bikini bottoms safely, and basically live the dream! I keep reading more and more about the G. Parnassus as an option and it does seem to fit if we carry the party there. Very open to any other suggestions though.

Golden Parnassus is at the top of our short list for next April 7th-16, 2017.. Would be great if fellow April Addicts showed up there as well !!! Never been there but after 3 trips to TTR and TTR being closed, could be worth a shot.
we are also in the same boat. We already took vacation from work for April 2017. the plans was to go back at TTR for 9 day. We will be more then happy to follow the April addict group to another resort.
