Temptation Resort can't compete in the 5 star market even with upgrade

Always possible. I seem to remember seeing a 250 or 350 a night on the door at Temptation currently rack rate. If I make it back there in September I'll double check that just for curiosity's sake

if they advertise $650 a night then you feel like you are getting a deal at $500 a night

 

If I'm paying 500 night, it'll be over at LeBlanc with my own butler.

And so will everyone else and that is why I don't think the prices will be as crazy as some fear. But I don't think $350 a night for double occupancy is out of the question.

I can see it now, some guy stumbling in for dinner after a Boobs Cruise and yelling "Play Some Skynyrd"!

 

OK, maybe I'm dense, but I don't get what it is I'm supposed to read between the lines and see beyond the pretty pictures. Can you not just come out and say whatever it is you're implying? Didn't you say you know the owners? What am I missing here?

Precisely the reason we've not booked this year.

Let's face it, holidaying at Temptation can be hard work. Getting the 'right room' (as far away from Paty O's as possible). Having to make reservations for dinner. We're getting increasingly fed up with the resort not enforcing the dress code in the restaurants. Having to drink out of plastic glasses when dressed for dinner. Having nowhere to sit & drink when it rains.

We welcome the changes.
