It looks great but I am guessing the price is going to go thru the roof. We need to start looking for a new place in April.

 

Let's see closed between Sept 25th 2016- August 2017. Eight restaurants, five bars, new spa, crazy looking pool, seven stories, elevators. Hell yea I think the prices will go up.

This new design and very large potential increases in prices are highly concerning for me as well.

TTR can't really compete in the 5 star segment due to its poor location, beach, etc. If it changes the vibe too much, it will lose its loyal customer base, especially with large price increases.

I am suspicious that the average 5 star resort customer would like the TTR concept. They are usually older, more conservative and like a QUIET place. These types of customers often want top food, amenities and a good beach. TTR, even with the renovation, can't beat other top 5 star resorts on almost any of these issues. Im worried the adult concept won't be sufficient to attract that customer segment.

 

Got to weed out the rif raf somehow.... except they are the fun ones.

 

I sure don't care about 5 stars. Waste of money to me is seems. I don't need to spend money to have a good time.
