Just got off the phone with RCI, they were unaware of the talk going around right now, they called TTR about my reservation 9/24-10/2 and were told my reservations were still on the book and they were still accepting bookings for that week. I know this is contrary to what is being put out, but this is what I am being told CP
And this one is interesting too... 10. What are the new Temptation rates? The rates are yet to be defined, however special and exclusive rates will be granted for Premier members. So special rates for premier members will be granted? Curious what everyones contacts say for a situation like this. Do they decide the new rates or are you locked into a particular rate or is there an amount it can increase with a specified limit per a specified time period? If so what?
oh well so much for the november trip to Temptation - no sweat we just moved it to Desire for all those cancuncare folks that were planning on going to Temptation this fall - well....feel free to come on down to new orleans now for the big cancuncare reunion there - everyone is welcome - just book your rooms soon though as its filling up quite quickly now looks like chinos is going to be able to make it so will have an extra awesome pub crawl again this year will see Temptation resort in the fall of 2017 - can't wait - looks great wayne - thanks for the video buddy!! Oh bummer! We were hoping to make our annual December (week before Christmas) trip to Temptation. We actually booked a week at Golden Parnassus this August because we wanted to "miss" Temptation enough for December. Now We'll have to wait even longer - phooey!
we just booked directly with Desire - they did not transfer we are doing different dates now as they were booked full the week we had planned to go to Temptation (november 8-13) we are now booked at Desire for december 14-18 - see you guys there? Rob
That would be super sweet to have been moved at the TTR rate. Cause it's like everyone would move, and you know it would then cause Desire to have more people, possibly making the daytime more action-packed. Almost makes one wish they booked and paid for an Oct -Nov trip, and end up at Desire for the cheaper rate.
I'm still holding out hope. I have an email into one of the Original Resorts managers asking this very question. If it falls through I'm thinking Halloween at GP. Don't want to get hit with a hefty rebooking fee on the flights, so trying to keep the same dates. 10/26 ~ 11/2
Nagging thought has me thinking TTR is going to be pricier than any of the Desire properties. Members (which we are) or not with what they have written it ain't gonna be cheap
