Since TTR is closed for our dates, which of the two is the best option/alternative?

    Please help.

According to research I've done - both recently (today) & in the past, I get the feeling GP is closer to the TTR vibe, and also in pricing. That being said, I have never been to either.

Having been to both I would agree. GP can actually be more wild at night, just not every night.

We are looking at GP as a possible alternative....unless they offer Desire RM or Pearl for the same rate we had booked at TTR :icon_lol::icon_surprised::icon_smile:

So are you changing your dates too? We booked air on Spirit and will cost us $300 to change dates.

We are sorta in the same boat. Change fees on a "international" flight with Delta are usually $150 - $250 per passenger. [emoji35][emoji31][emoji26]

spoke to them today , if you have reservations for after the resort closes they are going to offer another resort to you and cover any extra costs to do so, they are working on the details and should have an email out in the next few weeks.. so i would give it a few weeksa and see what happens ..|GP will be our choice aswell.

We called yesterday and they told us since we did not book directly with the TTR to call who we made our reservations with and speak to them and request a refund.
We are in same boat .Booked through United vacations with air and hotel. Now question is where to go.

We booked through cheaptickets. Whatever you do, don't cancel until you're certain. You lose your package discount. We just booked at Golden Parnassus. It's not TTR but I hear it's the best affordable alternative. Would love to try Desire, but not at $500/nt.
