Have fun with it. He won't regret being in the minority. This is a place where less is more! I've spent a lot of time in underwear and swimsuits at TTR i'd never wear at home (and I'm a normally conservative guy).
It all depends on your comfort level. Todd enjoys dressing up as much as I do, and he is a big ham, so he likes the attention and loves getting asked to pose for photos. Another guy in our group is uncomfortable with all of that and rarely dresses for themes. As long as both guys are happy, it's all good!
We (both of us) dress in theme though I (Paul) dress in theme as a compliment to whatever she wears.I dont mind pushing boundries. Theme nights add to the fun of the experience of TTR, some guys prefer to push boundries more than others. Its YOUR vacation, make the most of it, whatever comfort level that suits you. :lotsofmichaelfs:
Can't speak for every time of the year, but I can say that as far as the June Junkies and the Hotties n' Hellraisers go, there's HIGH participation from the men. My advice is to figure out your comfort zone, then go a step or two beyond it. With each visit, you'll find then men getting more and more involved with the themes.
I second that. Although Jenn always has an outfit or two planned.. I usually have something up my sleeve. Depending on the crowd it may just be a rockstar wig and t-shirt.. or for men in black it could be black underwear and a bow tie.. just have fun. :lotsofmichaelfs:
I will admit I tend to go overboard with "themes". We have never been to TTR, but we ride the largest organized bike ride in the US every year. I "may" have worn her daisy dukes for 80's night a few years ago. I learned that night that short shorts and no underwear equals your nuts hanging out quite a bit. I am all for participating in the theme nights. It may not be sexy, but it will be fun! Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
I plan on participating. It wouldn't be fair to ask her to dress up all sexy and not have me do the same for her! :bootyshake: -Guy-
