My understanding is the the summer months (May - Aug) are the busiest. It slows down into Sept, because hurricane season is Sept - Oct (which is why you can normally get better deals during those time periods).

However, there is a large repeater group, the Octoberbreasters, that go the 1st into 2nd weeks...so that time period can get a bit busy as well.

The airlines are great at confusion pricing! You're at $535pp, and we're at $560 for both of us on United, and we've got a 1 hour stop in New Jersey on the way, which last time I checked was pretty close to Philly. Number of miles in a flight means nothing to them when they price a flight. Thank God we've got a Frontier hub at our airport, keeps everyone low on the prices.:aktion034:

We got a great deal on direct JetBlue flights the first day that their schedules were extended. Flight down $146 and return flight 167....unheard of from Boston so jumped on it. $626 for the two of us. The very next day the flights went up to $1054 and today it would be 1484.00 ...ridiculous I must say. But ...glad we jumped on it when we did.

That's a hell of a deal from Logan. You can hardly get to Manchester for that price. When are you going?
