Security will walk around saying "no sexo" and "no nakey" and leave you be as long as you don't force them to end the party early.
Any time that we've ever tried security has killed the mood quickly. I think that it's the luck of the draw. I have a feeling though that you can buy any of the staff off with a bit of palm grease though.
We have never tried the hot tub over the sexy pool late night. Has anyone tried that? Maybe next time.
We have snuck up there a few times successfully, hung out there quietly for about an hour. We did get caught once, was with another couple that didn't understand the quiet concept. They just came up and told us it was closed and asked us to leave... No problems. Worth a try P&L
I've never been to TTR yet, so this is my take on this thread. If you want to skinny dip, go to the sports pool, shut the "F" up take your clothes off and get in the damn water. Sounds like security won't usually bother you unless you're having sex (that they know of) or you are loud. I do understand the loud part as I'm sure some people do sleep down there, at least a little to recharge their batteries for the sexy pool the next day, I think that is only polite to do anyway. It also sounds like if you're not too obvious with the sex you may be okay also. Do I have this right? I'll let you know after we try it out sometime between April 26 and May 3rd.
We stayed at the Golden last sept. Ended up naked in the pool at midnight. Everyone was in their rooms except us. It was a very memorable 2nd night of marriage. We would love to repeat it this sept.
We were in cabo one year at a regular resort. The bartender kept coming out and giving us fresh drinks because there was nobody else to serve (cabo in August). Nobody was around and we got a little frisky (wound up naked and had some fun) in the infinity pool (glass facing the beach). When we were done we put our suits back on she was praying nobody saw us. We went back to the side of the pool where our chairs were and there we saw two fresh drinks waiting for us.
So, funny story. Tom and I, our very first vacation together, first trip to TTR. We arrive at about 10:30pm, its POURING rain everywhere. We drop off our bags and go to look around. There are about 6 ppl in the sexy pool and they said, come on in. So we did. We partied in the pool for a while. Then people kind of paired off and disappeared. Others just went right to it. Let's just say #bestnightever! Never heard a peep from security that night. The second time we were at TTR it was a bit quieter - certainly nothing like what we witnessed our first night! Give it a try, go with the vibe and see how it goes! 2 weeks until we get to suss out the Apr 25-May2 crowd! Naughty or nice?
