One of the Octoberbreast people submitted an inquiry to TTR re wedding vow renewals and the wedding planner responded with.... "First of all, thank you for choosing Temptation Resort & Spa to spend your vacation. I respectfully address you, that I’ve been informed by the hotel administration that there is a probable renovation of some sections of the hotel, to avoid inconveniences to our clients, the wedding planner is not confirming any wedding celebration for the months of October, November and December 2016."
You could always arrange your own DIY ceremony on the beach. There are websites where anyone can quickly and cheaply become an ordained minister. I did this and officiated my buddy's wedding. It allowed the ceremony and the vows to be highly personalized, and everyone loved it (if I do say so myself). I'd offer to officiate your vow renewal in October, but unfortunately we won't be there. You might try posting a request to the threads that correspond with your Temptation dates and see if any of your fellow travelers would be willing to officiate for you. You could invite everyone to the ceremony with a rule that attendees must wear white swimsuits - or must be topless - or whatever. It's your ceremony, and you're at a place full of fun people, so make it memorable! And thanks for being a good sport about all the jokes.
