theme night participation really sucked

Hi all, our first trip to TTR was at the end of march 2015 and we like almost everyone loved the place. The only thing we wish was better was participation in the theme nights. I would guess it was somewhere around 15 to 20%. We had herd so much about the theme we were really excited about them. It didn't stop us from having a great time but it was just a bit of a letdown. As we plan this year (most likely mid june) we are hoping theme participation will be better. Was last year just a one off? Can we expect better in June or is what we saw the norm.

June might be a bit better. You'll find the resorts theme nights with a bit higher participation......the reason is that ONLY the people on this site know about the themes we've chosen to do.

We usually bring "theme night" attire.............and we may wear it or not......we may wear it for the first few minutes......then head back to the rooms with the girls and find something "special" for the night. I'm finicky. ..........and I may change clothes 2-3-4 times a night......4 is a little much......but 2-3 really isn't terribly unusual.

I like to dress for Tramp.....for me...........and for the audience!

Do the themes if you're comfortable with them........talk about them around the pool and you'll be able to gauge what everyone else is doing. Then.......have a back up in the room if you feel the need for something more..........well.......more like your inner slut! Did I say that? LOL! Enjoy.............this is YOUR vacation!

 

Thx for the info. I didn't realize that the themes were CCC themes. Just figured they were resort published themes. Good to know. Like I said the lack of participation didn't keep us from having a good time. Especially on lingerie night!! Wifey just wished there were more taking part.

 

If you're going in June check the June Junkies themes as well...participation varies

lingerie night is a TTR theme though so should have been well attended. Maybe lots of people there were first timers and had never even checked out the website, just booked and went?

 

March is full of March breakers who don't even know about CC or the themes.


Just check the roll call #s annd participation

 

We did notice the larger number of March breakers and singles last year.

 

I don't understand why they don't sell theme costumes in the hotel. They would make a killing and it would help get participation way up.
