1st time we went was 8 years ago. We just joined in with a large group of friends who were going. None of us really knew anything about the resort. Out of the 11 couples that went the 1st time - we are the only ones that have gone back. The second time was to TTR in Cabo 6 years ago and I did the research and we decided together. This year we booked the trip at 3 am after our house cleared out from a gathering. Wifey said "I've had a bottle and a half of wine, so let's book a trip to Temptations" We are already looking to go back in October lol.
Back when I was first starting out, getting the income stream lined up I got an email spam thing from a travel company company called vacations to go. In it was what they called a FastDeal on a resort in Cancun called Blue Bay Getaway. I read the reviews, noted the topless thing about the pool and thought to myself, "I gotta get her there." AND the price was really, really low in comparison to the other places in Mexico at the time, so we talked about it and I booked it for a 5-night stay. Of course, the next SIXTEEN trips are all Stacia's idea. She's got a taste now for topless and next-to-nothing bikini bottoms. Can't say I mind it at all, eh!
Friends introduced us to it. We considered it last year but neither of us was 100% sure at the same time. Talking about options this year I (wifey) decided that we just needed to dive in. Our goal for the year is to break out of the ruts we get stuck in, so this seems like a good push! I just embraced bikinis last year, so topless is the next frontier to conquer.
It was me (Ken). First Cancun trip was nice resort but we were in bed by 10 every night. My boss went to TTR the same year and said our resort sounded boring compared to his so i looked it up and went last June. Much more fun so we are going again this June
For us it as him. Heard about TTR from a friend and it sounded exciting and outside our comfort zone so we set screw it, let's go! One of the best decisions made. Can't wait to go back for our third time.
I guess it was mine (male) but she's always wants to come back. We used to go to Hedo this is much more fun!! Only 15 days and we're back living the dream.
When we booked our first trip we did it through a travel site that listed it as "Adults Only" We dont have children and would rather not vacation with them so we thought it was great.. After booking we looked up the resort further and found out the topless part etc. lol
