There are tons of places right near the ferry and in town. Walk around and if it feels right, stop in!!
Depends on what you want . . . Playa Norte is beautiful and ideally located. We opted for a condo at Ixhcel through vrbo. However, there are some great, smaller places on Playa Notre and well as some cute places in town. Check out the list on trip advisor. For just two days I would recommend staying either on Playa Norte or in town. Then take a day with the cart to see the rest of the Island. If you are going, I cannot sing enough praises about the Map Chick Map. Worth every penny!
Could not agree more. We really had a fabulous time and ended up literally running for the last ferry.
I would take peso's. The majority of bars and restaurants will do 10 peso to 1us exchange. Not very good.
Thanks so much for your reply. We've been over before-but just for a few hours shopping or for the Boobs Cruise so never spent any real time on the island. We were looking at PA but since it will only be 2 nights and we will likely be exploring the island for a full day, I was looking more and more at Nautibeach or Ixhcel. Thanks Again!
