We've left little treats as well as tips for the ladies that clean the room like hair clips and elastics plus, gum sometimes for the staff we know well we'll bring treats for their kids for school. But always smiling and being gracious and saying please and thank you goes a long long way.
What would be considered "tipped well"? Should I tip at the beginning for the entire week or after each meal (including / excluding buffet), drink ordered at the bar, room cleaned, etc.? I always tip for service and the better the service, the better the tip!
I always make sure to toss the busiest bartenders a $20 every couple of days, they pay far better attention to me from then on. Housekeepers always get a daily tip, they amuse us so with their towel animals.
