Most of you are probably familiar with my posts and my style. I don't like to fight on here, or get into any back-and-forth things with people. I but I too am very surprised by the very negative vibe that is happening in this thread.

People like different things right?!! Isn't that like one of the main reasons that most of us like TTR. People are in almost every other thread drooling over breasts. Well maybe some people at regular resorts would think you are a nut job, a perv, and have no respect for your significant other or yourself. We are not the norm in most people's opinions, but on here everyone is like "deal with it, that's who we are and what we do", and we disagree and think: "what's the harm in some nude breast and sexy flirting."

People talk on here about group sex, swinging, and getting double teamed, no one really comes negative at that, says its wrong, and normally the posts are "liked". But here we are talking about some MaryJane, and people that don't like it feel the need to point their stance out, and tell others to basically stop talking about it. Would you like it if on every post someone talked about the lifestyle, someone responded to it in a very negative way? No, and that person would be told to go away from the forum.

I just find this all very hypocritical from many "adult minded people". Doesn't seem very fair that the shoe isn't on the other foot about a different non-mainstream/taboo subject. Maybe at this point it is more appropriate for the Free for all section, but It's a clearly marked thread, so if it isn't your thing, then just don't read through it. It just doesn't seem every one is being very fair.

I'm not going to be bated by you.
I never said no debates, no differences of opinion. In fact, quite the opposite.

Debating is fine, debating the laws, sharing your opinion, etc - that's all fine and well. Telling them the majority of people come here to talk about something else, questioning why they like what they like, asking why they feel the need to have weed when there are titties and beer - seems pretty judgmental on their post.

Engage all you want. But to engage and then complain about their stance seems hypocritical.

    It just gets old.

I used to smoke a lot of weed, but I stopped because it made me think I was really smart and I wanted to argue with everyone who didn't agree with me.

I support self medication, practice it,and thought the OP made some very good points. However one comment the OP made became in my opinion disrespectful which has nothing to do with the topic. I love reading and participating in a good debate until a lack of respect is shown by either side.

    Agree with PaulnTina.

It ain't the topic, it's the tone. It's one thing to defend people who use pot; it's another thing to insult those who use alcohol.

Merry-go-rounds make me puke, but I don't go to Six Flags message boards and disparage merry-go-rounds. What kind of person would that make me?

Some of us prefer Patron to patronizing.

Fortunately no one has ever gotten lung cancer from first hand smoke, so I think the risk is pretty minimal ;-)

My concern (and I could be wrong about this) would be related to my job. I can be randomly selected for drug screening at any point and would being in the vicinity of second-hand smoke from marijuana potentially cause me to fail a drug test?

I know I won't ever get tested/checked for alcohol, the types of sexual fun I have with my spouse or other partners, etc. But unfortunately in the USA, employers can still fire you for failing a drug test...and I guess I'd rather not be around people that could potentially cause issues with that.

I agree. To each their own... I personally think it's silly to outlaw a plant, and also grow industrial hemp for legitimate medical research. I only smoke/consume it when I'm in a state that has legalized it, but I only drink when I go out once a month to a bar or dinner with my wife. There is no "need" there.

Well said... thanks for your contribution.

A side benefit of social media is that we all get a sense of the posters.

This provides great information when deciding what kind of people we would like to meet and party with. We love it when people out themselves as potential problems with attitude and drama.

None of us like to party with our Grandparents.. but mostly its not for age itself, but for being old thinking and old acting with inappropriate attitudes.

For those who (and there are many) who express a fascination with breasts and booze... you can find it elsewhere in the forums.

    Don't think too hard ;)
