Just wanted to toss this out to the Premier members and inform them of something we are going through right now. We have used up all 3 of our referral weeks for this year and someone inquired about using another 4 days I logged into the Premier web site and it allowed me to freely book the 4 days, what we have recently found out is that these days come off your contract nights. Even though the person is still paying referral rate prices and is NOT permitted to do a walk through to get you a resort credit. Our contract speaks nothing to this and to say we are upset is an understatement, no one should be permitted to use up your nights other than the person on the contract in our opinion, has anyone else had an experiences on this ?
This is not new. Nothing to be beware of. You know how many Referrals you are entitled to hand out. You negotiated your contract. If you go over the annual Referrals you are now eating up your alloted nights.
Thats how we understood it too. Once you give out your alloted referral weeks you start giving away your own nights by booking a referral you dont have.
We have been to TTR 15 times, this was never mentioned nore is it written in our contract or on the referral web site. A heads up would have helped. So a person gets to go to TTR using up your contract nights but paying higher referral prices and no resort credit given for timeshare walk through. Makes sense <---Sarcasm...LoL
I learned early on to verify everything with the resort, for the exact reason what happened to you. I hope you get it sorted out.
One thing we found out was our "Free" weeks were taken out of our allotted nights also. Could not find that in the fine print.
This is not "totally" correct. Yes, the extra referral does come out of your weeks, however your referral CAN attend the tour/presentation and ONLY if they buy a membership do you get $250.00 (not the usual $500.00)

I need some help on Referrals. We became members last year. We paid a 6 month fee to advertise ours for like $25. We thought the resort guaranteed us Referrals by doing it. We were depending on the referral credits of $250 for the presentation to help make our monthly payments. We haven't received any referral credits as of yet. Anyone have advice? BTW we will be there July 6-13 this year. 40th birthday is July 6. Could be interesting.
