If it was generally legal to possess it without a (Mexican) prescription in 2009, why did there not be an edict to not arrest minor possession at that time?



We totally get all the comments that basically say they would not take the risk.

Noted...if the practical climate that this time is too muddy to consider the product then it will have to wait for the time when clarity allows the guest to act with comfort and assurance they can party with their choice of products, not just a proscribed list of approved products.

As I have pointed out in my references the core of the Supreme Court's decision was founded on defense of the human right of self expression and personality development.


I can totally understand that some of the resorts guests might just be there for the booze and worry about crayoning outside the lines, feel free to continue in your choices and enjoy your vacation.

In the more general area of policy on this product, guest relations and a enabling vacation experience, one would think that the presumably liberal minded lifestyle,nudist clientele that go to the resort would be very much in support of being able to party how we all want as long as everyone is respected.

 

Have you thought about just taking edibles with you?

I read that it was fully decriminalized in 2009, up to 5 grams in cancun. I'll read more and see what I dig up

We spent over a month at Hedonism in 2015.. this trip to TTR is for a new experience.

Trust that we know the Jamaican experience VERY well... now its time to explore it Mexican style... such as it is today.

I think the thing here is that as a community we have been burnt many times by people starting threads on controversial topics with the intent to only stir the pot and/or fight with people.

The major factor here that would cause this concern is that this thread was started on your second post. It has been our experience that newer members, with very little post history, and no picture (even though you do have a profile pic), that open with oddball topics, are here simply for trolling. Which is just something that aggravates the bulk of us, as we feel frustrated by wasting our time responded to someone that really is only here to fight. Obviously it is easy enough to just leave the thread alone all together, which it appears many people that have been burnt have done.

All this being said, this may not be true, and it isn’t a troll thing. Perhaps you didn't have anything to add before this post(which is fine), and maybe you felt this was a topic that should be discussed. This topic isn't something that has come up in any recent history I can remember. Also, you are replying with content, when normally trolls just write a sentence or two.

Only time will tell where this leads, but I don't see a problem talking about this, especially if MJ was legal. But as MandZ said above, they don't think it is. This type of post can lead to facts and healthy discussion. Not everything can just be about strait boobs all the time And I do agree alcohol is worse of the two, and it isn't fair to say one drug is more appropriate to party with then the other. The wrong substance may have lost the fight due to a multitude of reasons (one of them being the newspaper industry and the fight against the hemp industry, but that's a whole other topic all together )

BTW is Mexico non smoking in restaurants and other public areas for tobacco products yet?

Hedonism went to non smoking for larges areas for all burnables in 2015...
This really helps in allowing a tobacco(and ganja) free dining experience and compartmentalizes the use to specific areas of the resort for both tobacco and ganja.

Big thumbs up for that... where is TTR on this matter of tobacco smoking?

 

Is it even an option to move anything through an airport? Do you guys have some laws in Tennessee I haven't heard about yet, haha

 

The main party area is outdoors,, but is a courtyard enclosed on all sides, and gets very little air movement.

Because it is considered out side smoking is permitted, even thought the air quality is very indoorish and poor . ,,add a huge grill to that, and on humid nights its a no-go zone for week lungs

The addition of some fans about 2 years ago brought the air up to bearable levels .

The place is crowded making respectful smoking impossible ( the smoker blows it away from the non-smokers face to the next one standing beside him.),, just not enuf room when its busy.

At least mar-smoke smell better
