Exactly... it serves the purpose.. there is enough there to do a work out...something is better than nothing lol
Working out isn't for everyone especially on vacation. I'm sure there is a Mexican plastic surgeon who could perform liposuction while you are at the buffet for the right price. The wife and I like to sweat out the tequila then replace it with more. Plus I like watching my wife squat.
I don't necessarily go to compensate for bad eating or over drinking..(although motivation lol) I go because it's just part of my day.
We're with you...we're either in the gym or training for our sport just about every day...it's not a chore, something we both like to do. If we didn't workout/train while on vacation, we'd feel like we were missing something from our day. Too bad it sounds like the gym sucks.
We got in a quick workout every day too. It definitely helped sweat out the previous day's endulgences and let us keep with our normal routine. Plus we enjoy it. Oddly enough at Temptations the gym offers the most privacy over any other place outside your room
Its enough there to get a workout in. No there isn't an abundance of equipment or anything fancy but it does have the basics. I'm not a cardio queen, I prefer weights so the complaints about the old cardio equipment doesn't really affect me. Most times we've been the only ones in there so its not crowded or shortage of equipment.
Since we workout pretty regularly in the gym while at home, we actually look forward to working out outdoors & away from the inside gym while on beach vacations. Last trip to Temp, we've spent a lot of time on the beach with the included stand up paddleboards, canoes, sailboats, just walking the beach. Pretty good core workout with those boards. Beach volleyball is fun too...
It's hardly a gym. It's a room with a little bit of equipment......and unless they've put film on the windows it's hot as hell in there all morning. It makes for a great sauna!
If you are up for a bit of an adventure there is an outdoor gym about 10 minutes away from the hotel .
