OK, so let me start off saying that I am normally a pretty big drinker...are you surprised?! Actually I don't drink at all during the work week, but then have my first drink of the weekend Friday 9:30pm. Then it is all down hill from there until some point Sunday night. But at TTR I drink pretty much all day every day, just like the rest of you party animals What I find works best for me at Temptation: 1. Morning - Lots of water when I first wake-up, and I do mean LOTS of water. Then I try to hit the gym (some days are more successful then others). Shower, get dressed for the day, head to breakfast/bunch, drink a light beer from the fridge on the walk. Lots of green juice with my meal, and definitely a few shots of Baileys on the rocks. Then by the end of breakfast maybe some type of frozen drink. 2. Early afternoon - after breakfast it's time to head to the sexy pool. Find a seat at the bar, and get warmed up typically with Bloody Caesars, then Vodka and club w/mio. 3. Lunch - Water, food, and tequila shots. 4. Later afternoon in the pool - More Vodka and club/tonics. More random shots. 5. Pool is closing down - maybe a beer or two, sometimes head to the quiet pool for more drinks. 6. Dinner - very little alcohol drinking. Mostly water and maybe a Margarita 7. Night time - mostly Spiced Rum and soda, shots. Some days this does change and after breakfast I just drink a bottle of Jagermister until dinner time. (Mostly jager, ice, sprite or redbull). Some keys are to make sure you drink enough water (I will chug a couple of bottles during the day at points). Order drinks by brand name (Sky vodka, Captain Morgans). Also, it is important to try and stay away from as many frozen drinks and the fruity shots as you can. These have lots of sugar in them and are what can lead to very bad hangovers.
Vodka waters only with the occasional splash of cranberry. Follow each one with a glass of water. Before sleeping drink 3-4 glasses of water and take an Advil. In the morning we took electrolyte packs mixed with water then ran 2 miles to sweat out the previous nights alcohol. Make sure u eat well and most importantly pace yourself! TTR is a marathon not a race
All good advice. I am normally a Vodka water drinker myself, but do like to switch to Vodka Redbulls at night. I see i'm not alone with this. I have never been to a resort that offers Redbulls. I'm assuming you have to supply your own?
I do liver crossfit on the weekends so I dont drink daily. The days I do though most would be passed out on what I can drink. 10am to 4am at TTR isnt an issue
Genius I was buying the Red Bull across the street for many years until one day I said maybe the convenience store in TTR carries Red Bull. I checked it out and low and behold they carry it! I'm a Genius! Right? Because I am so smart I say to myself lets take it one step further, maybe the bartender has Red Bull, I doubt it but I'll ask. So I go to Patyo's one night and ask do you have Red Bull? He says, "Si". I say, "Yes!! I'm a genius once again"! Then I say (to myself of course) wait, wait, wait Buddy, don't pat yourself on the back too quickly. You spent 3 years going across the street and buying from the convenience store before even asking the bartender if he has Red Bull! You are a Loser!!!! Big Loser!!!!! Now I have to live with this shame.... And now everybody knows .......
I drink a lot of Vodka (Skyy) and Cranberrry with a splash of Sprite to cut it. Keeps me cool and refreshed during the day. At night it is usually beer.... I do mix some beer in the day time too though
They have red bull at the resort at the bar, in the gift shop, and across the street, But you have to pay a premium for it (like $5 a can). We just buy case at home from Target and put it in our suitcase.
Lots of wAter in between and we also use those hangover pills from Amazon with electrolytes and vit b in them. I swear they help a ton! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
