We recently got back from Temptation , our 8th trip, and by far the worst experience we have ever had at this resort , we are middle class hard working people who know how to have fun , we have been there in the months of Nov ,Jan , early Feb x 2, April x 3 , and now early March , the large groups of single guys was unreal , many respectful , some not so much , on Sunday evening the police were called for a incident at the pool which was poorly handled by hotel security and a guy was arrested for a incident that involved his wife and a group of guys. there was no rhyme or reason to the theme nights , we have never seen CCC participation so low , for example and on our first 3 nights we saw different people dressed up as school girl and on friday night 3 people wearing dress shirts , we had a ocean view room which was a upgrade , on day 2 the toilet started leaking , we asked each day for it to be fixed , it never was , our room had no lamp and only the red night light , we asked several times for a lamp , never got one , we stayed over by the quiet pool as with all our other trips , but this was the first time that loud noise and yelling most nights could be heard , security never did a thing. the most disgusting thing was that one of the toilets in the mens washroom by the pool tables was plugged on Friday with # 2 , I brought it to the attention of the hotel staff , it was still plugged on Sunday and the smell in there was unbearable . The Entertainment staff was great and worked so hard ,but most games did not go ahead because of a lack of participation .The bartenders awesome as always , the sin that was committed was that we did not go in April , however I think we will take a break from Temptation we all overpay to go there but love the vibe , however it is not the same place that we have come to know , and by the way we are a fit good looking couple who have never had a problem making friends , so this is not a case of us bashing the place because we were snubbed , the crowd was not friendly , you could walk through the resort and meet 10 people ,maybe one would say hello. the last point is the sexy pool chairs , I know the chair thing again but my god , people were leaving their T shirts on the chairs all week , they never removed them at the end of the day, on our first night we took a walk by the sexy pool at 9:30 pm and every single chair was reserved , this went on all week with the exception of one night when the staff packed up all the chairs to clean the pool deck, however they left all the t shirts on the chairs and placed them back , when we finally did get 2 chairs from a couple who were leaving we arrived the next morning to find a couple liked our spot better that theirs so the moved us to their old chairs in the shade, when I asked why? the guy stated that they had been there for 4 days and it was there turn to sit in the sun , what do you do , give him a punch in the mouth over a stupid chair, just no respect , Anyway that was our experience , others Iam sure will say different , however after 8 times I feel we are in a pretty good position to give our thoughts, to our April friends , I hope it is as good as always for you guys.
Bummer that you had a bad trip, sounds like there was a few positives at least though. Seems like in March we always see some of these come in related to spring breakers and the general vibe of the place. Maybe that is why the CCC themes were so lacking, it just a safe bet to stay away in March.
Yeah, March has always been a slow month the last few years. Look a the roll call, there are a few days that are hot spots with CCC folks, but it's far less then April/May/June
The thought of spring-breakers in March has always concerned me. Hoping a visit in October or November eliminates such negatives.

We would never go in March, seems like every year there's one or two stories like this and precious few positive ones.
That sounds awful! ... it just blows my mind how I can read 2 trip reports from the SAME time and have two Totally different views not to say either didn't experience what they did!... it is just crazy to me that it can vary so much! I hope when we go in april that our review is more like the other report I read for this week from the newbies that just booked on a whim sorry you had such an awful time hope you have a better next vacation!
You guys should come with the Octoberbreast crew the first week of October. We always have a great time and have a fabulous group that comes every year. Melissa
