What does everyone do before their trip with tanning? We did a bit last year because we did not want to burst into flames the first time our bodies felt the sun in months. Thinking a few sessions are in order this year too, even though I am not much for tanning beds. :angrymad:

Definitely do it. Its a different kind of sun down there and our tender Canadian skin is not ready for it lol

Definitely, I'd rather cook slowly, rather than all at once!

My wife is still burnt from a 5 minute session at the tanning salon. Just made an appointment for tomorrow!! The place I go has music blaring and fans going. It will start getting me pumped for our trip next Sunday!

Never had a sunburn in my life...until last April. Idk what the difference was but it got me. If you have fair skin sunblock repeatedly is a must. Tan first!

Its a must, I will normally go about 2 or 3 times; wife always does a Mystic Tan and that always works for her.

Big yes to getting a tan first. Vicki and I are sun loving nudists and we got a little cooked the first day - and we were already tanned. Best bet is to bring plenty of SPF whatever you feel good with and use it. Lots of it. The latitude will get you if you are not careful.

Tanning is almost a must if you don't want to sunburn. Don't forget some type of sunscreen lip balm too. Your lips will burn quick.
