I believe the far left of the resort as you're looking at it from the beach has a timeshare aspect to it. but their 2 pools to the right and for regular hotel guess. Who cares about timeshares, we will be in the activities pools with friends running wild as usual topless ALL the time.
We just booked June 13-22. Couldn't pass up the deal for a swim-out ocean front for 9 days. Pre-opening price is awesome. And hopefully it will be open for about 6 weeks before we go.

TTR has changed a lot in the 15 years we've gone (granted, a long time between visits 2 and 3). Never think anything stays the same.......it will change when revenues require it to!

We went to Desire Riveria Maya in Nov of last year. Walked over to the Breathless Resort being built, it's swallows DRM up. Don't know how Breathless will keep topless people away from the naked optional side of Desire, especially at night when intoxicated.
