First time couple who went from fen 27- March 5th

Lobby and main indoor area-nice but not great. There were some parts of the hotel that needed updating but it definitely didn't take away from the trip. We loved that it was a smaller resort so it was easy to navigate and find people you met. The concierge workers were really nice and helpful.

Rooms- rooms are very neat and clean. Again certain parts could use a touch up but again who really cares about a chipped tile. We initially had a 500 room but it didn't have a nice view and we weren't getting much light. Also it didn't have a bathroom door so we asked to switch. The front desk were very accommodating. We explained that we don't mind the noise and ended up easily switching to a pool/ocean view room, which fronted onto the patio bar. Best decision of the trip. Gave us a beautiful view and sunlight for some awesome pictures and allowed us to see how the party was going at the bar every night. And it had a washroom door! Ac worked great in both rooms.

Pools- something for everyone. The quiet bar was beautifully set up and available for people that want to relax. Which weren't many ;) . The sexy pool was rocking from morning to evening. Nice set up and view of the ocean. The water was warm and it was easy to get drinks at the swim up bar. The shows poolside were a riot too. Chairs were a pain to get, but the solution is to just stay in the pool! The sports pool was barely used except for the foam party and tequila volleyball. I was told that it is partly because the water is colder.

Beach- a little small and not the nicest water I've seen but not close to the worst either. Majority of the guests are at the pools so it's easy to get chairs and day beds. We didn't find seaweed to be a problem. The beach volleyball court was a ton of fun and wasn't too serious so anyone of any skill level could play. I played 3 vs 3 with some locals later on which was much more intense but a lot of fun too. The sand in the volleyball court isn't very deep and had a hard surface underneath so if u like to dive you'll get scraped up.

Food/ buffet- excellent. The buffet didn't have the selection of other resorts but what they did have was amazing. Tons of fresh fruits and veggies and the freshly maid omelettes were a great way to start the day. The servers were fast , polite and super nice.

Restaurants - we went to the Italian one night. Very good food but the ambience was what we really enjoyed. Great service. We also tried the Chinese. Very good food again but the ambience and looking over the ocean from our table was what made it great. I never booked and had no trouble just walking up and getting a table. Compared to other resorts the restaurants here were way less busy. Probably due to the excessive drinking of most guests during the afternoons.

Staff- best we've had. Everyone was super polite, lots of fun and provided great service. Tip them they deserve it! 10 times better then any other resort I've attended.

Shows- our favourites were the Brazilian dancers who amazing. After that the violinist on white night. lingerie night was also very entertaining and had the most guests participating.

Guests- I've never met so many outgoing and nice people. Everyone was friendly and open to a conversation. I didn't see anyone gawking or making rude remarks.
There were a ton of "lifestylers" who approached us and tested the waters, but once we explained that we weren't into that it was no big issue and we continued to talk, party, and have a great time.

Negatives- if I had to nitpick I'd say only real negatives were the high powered sales pitch we were forced into on arrival and that the ac didn't work too well in the gym. That's really it.

Overall- TTR was a great time and I think we'll go back. If you like to party , meet nice people and have lots of fun this place is for you. If you want to relax , stick to your self and stay in an upscale resort you should look somewhere else.

If you met or saw us during our visit and have some good memories add a comment. Admittedly a lot of the week was a blur. We really liked everyone we met. If I missed anything or anyone has a question let me know and I'll reply. Before we left I started a thread so if you want to know more about us and what our mindset was before the trip have a read.

I've had some great feedback on my photography skills and will post some more vacation picks soon.
