Sorry, didn't realize it was a hot topic. Single guys are a pain in ass, pictures by the pool are only a problem when it's not couples taking private pictures for themselves, towel theft is just selfish, swingers don't bother us at all, and as far as premier members who cares? We use all their benefits ever year and nobody has ever stopped us.
It was really annoying seeing all the chairs with tshirts used to save them and then not seeing anyone use them all day. But just like someone already posted, it's way more fun in the pool anyways.
BTW, there's a very easy trick to get a VIP wrist band that won't cost you a dime. Last three trips it worked for us.

Since we don't use our chairs much in the afternoon we now use the premier chairs (we are members) to free up more chairs around the pool. I need and like to just lounge around the pool area for a while, but don't need to be 2 feet from the pool to do so.
This will probably piss off the members and I am sorry for that, but seating around the pool is only for members, really??? I get it that you guys pay more for some luxury benefits, room upgrades, premium drinks and preferential seating for dinner, but the pool?? We are paying money also for a vacation. We chose TTR because of the reviews, (this site in particular), all the crazy stories ect. We would like to be able to enjoy our vacation without feeling like we don't belong, which is what you guys are making it sound like. We have never been and are so looking forward to going, hopefully more than once, but if I have to fight for a chair that isn't within walking distance to the fun, I'm not too sure how much fun that will be. Please tell me I am reading this wrong. I get it is only the first row around the pool, but in looking at the Temptations virtual map, it doesn't look like there are many chairs that aren't in the first row. I have to add an additional comment because this one sounds way to negative. In all the post by newbees, no one complains that this is a problem and they all seem to have a blast down there. Just reading some of these comments it does seem like seating is an issue.
Confused, what I have read on this forum, yall don't take crap from anyone so why do you allow chair saving? If I get up early in morning and see t-shirts on a chair left over from last night it goes in the pool, duh. People will learn if you stand up to greedy half brain idiots. CP PS really only members sit by the pool? The Misses is gonna be pissed if that is true
