Lori at castaway travel is a dream maker! She beat TTR website by $200 and included free ground transfers. She also searched many other resorts for super deals. 4 nights with air from our local small air port for $2078. I searched for days by my self and couldn't come close. You can call Lori at 18004702020 I don't know if you can promote on here, but she just went above and beyond what you normally get these days and when you experience great service you have to say something!
glad you feel you got a good deal. Pricing looks in line, not great depending on when you're going. We only use the TTR website when they have a promo....this time around we booked on the 5th night free deal and booked our other 2 nights with another website. $2,200 US for 7 nights, round trip and transfers (with USA Transfer of course):beer4:
Just ignoliging the good service we received from her Our flights were hard to find a good price unfortually.
Airfare seems to be the major factor when booking depending on the flights you need and want, room rates it seems are all close in price.Except resort prices they are always more expensive than travel sites
When we first started going to TTR, we were seasoned travelers and knew to never book at any resort site. Always much more expensive than booking online booking sites. The TTR website prices are way high. Most trips Id say we've beat them by booking online by at least $50-100 a night, and sometimes more than that.
true, but there are other factors too. We could fly direct with Frontier, but instead we chose to pay $100 more for our flights with United (after factoring in the lower bag fees than Frontier). We spend 3 more hours flying with the 2 layovers, but we leave at 4pm versus 8am which is almost like getting another day in Cancun and honestly the flights are so much more comfortable on United since Frontier went to the cardboard "pre reclined" seats and eliminated tv, no Wi-Fi etc...... :rainfro:
We did the same thing, we paid more to fly American to get there early and leave in the afternoon instead of the morning. It was worth the extra $30.00 for 9 more hours at the resort.
