Hi, we are headed to TTR on June 7th and before deciding on the room to book we wanted to ask if the Jacuzzi rooms were worth the extra money, they say they have a nice view of the pool and ocean but wanted to know from people who stayed in them how they were. Thanks
Yes they are totally worth it! It will guarantee a quiet room and can also serve as a late afternoon party location!
they have their pro,s and cons,, they do tend to be more damp then other rooms . you will have a lot of friends too
We stayed in a jacuzzi room once. Our only view was the quiet pool. If you ask me it was totally worth it. There are screens that roll down so you can see out but nobody can see in (unless it's dark and you have the lights on). You're on the first floor and ours was very quiet (unless you have guests). From now on it's the only way to go.
We had a Jacuzzi room our first year at TTR and never used it. It's nice to have a room on the quit side if that's what you are looking for but not worth the money for us
We think the jacuzzi room is worth it. We like the fact that it guarantees us a location near the quiet pool. We have used the tub every time. It also, on 2 occasions, provided us with a great venue to hang out in when it POURED. The quite pool bartender actually brought us drinks. Outstanding service.
Keep in mind you can always negotiate the rate upon arrival. The risk is whether there is availability. But we have always been able to negotiate the upgrade fee to $50 more a night. Of course if you book in advance it costs much more but you are guaranteed the room.
Last 2 trips it was 75 to 150 more a night, they are becoming more popular . the resort occupany at the time will also dictate the $$
We splurged for 12 nights in the Jacuzzi room. The location is usually great. We do miss out on the balcony shows by being on the first floor. Of course we make our own shows for passers by.
We did Jacuzzi room once in 7 trips.. didn't think it was worth the added expense. We like being in the rooms close to patyos and sexy pool.. for what time you spend in the Jacuzzi definitely not worth the upgrade.
