    Ok I'll try again. lol
    Was the first resort built
    Others were built on both sides as Cancun grew.
    At some point they bought one of resorts next door and then later the other and they were incorporated into one. I lost the article I had on it so not sure which side first.
    How was that??? lol

    There are 14/16 storey high rise buildings built on that same geological base in Cancun, but as others mentioned TTR is an old building and the tower blocks are much newer.

    I agree you cant just keep on piling more weight on an existing footing that wasn't designed to support it. It's why I always say that when renovation does eventually happen you will know it, because it will be large scale demolition - leveling and rebuilding.

    LOL ok so funny Story I just got off the phone with the premier office to pay for our visit (YAY) and I had a hard time hearing him over the BANGING of hammers and CONSTRUCTION! haha I'm not worried about it just thought it was super funny I made a comment about sounds like you have started some construction he just laughed and said yes they are doing something to the roof LOL
