We are booked and our friends (another couple) is trying to book. But its sold out. Does the waitlist usually work or are they a lost cause?
We booked our flight first then booked hotel through RCI, which did not have the first night available. Long story short we ended up finding a room available through Travelocity even though the resort is sold out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
we tried the wait list in the past and never heard back. Highly recommend trying cheap tickets, expedia, alpha rooms, etc. As they may have rooms even though the resort site does not. Try changing dates by 1 day and it may open up for the new range. Then you can try to plug in a day from another site. Upon arrival the resort will combine your reservations. what dates you looking for?
they were looking for the dates 4-07-11. The resort just emailed me back from the waiting list and said they can do 3 nights not 4
We once wanted to go and found the weekend at the end of the trip was sold out. So, we booked the available days until Thursday, and reserved another hotel for the weekend, and then just went to the front desk every day to ask if there were any openings for the weekend. Once that opened up, we cancelled our backup hotel.
I assume 4/10 is the problem? You can get 4/7 via cheap tickets using promo code cheapster for $273. 4/10 on there is sold out too!
We once put our name on the waiting list and got called that there was an opening but we already booked Desire. We went to Desire.
we wouldn't mind a 2 day bump there.....been 10 years since we've been to DRM, either way we're getting charged up and can't wait! The latest snow and cold spell officially put us in the holy shit let's get out of here mode:ernaehrung005:
