I know this thread never really took off, haha. But just wanted say I am excited because it is new tattoo time in less then a month...not as exciting as my TTR countdown, but still something to look forward to!
Love the anticipation of a new tattoo! Just got a new one on Valentines Day, but it's not done so I won't post it. Here's one I did last year..... http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/mem...s-all-about-fun-picture75818-half-sleeve.html
Got a new piece just so I could try to breathe some life into this thread, haha V for Vendetta (by Bryan Merck, in trash polka style)
Defibbulate this thread.... Interesting points made. I have no tats, which is very unusual given my earlier career of being a full-on musician. Every time I had considered a design, after a while I always thought, 'Naah, that would suck', which kinda put me off long term. Along with some amazing artwork, I've seen plenty of tatt-regret! Piecing's have come and gone, not an issue as you can easily remove them. Yes, it was me that had rings in both nipples with a chain between them, I swear it improved my guitar playing at the time :icon_lol: My other gripe is how tats age. I have a good fb that I have been seeing for 12+ years, she has an incredible dolphin on her shoulder; at least, it was incredible. Three children, 12 years of sun and life, and it looks pretty average. No problems with seeing them on others, but me, I've chosen to rock the shaven clean look. Feel free to share pics, love seeing them! Totally agree with the perception that tats create also, be it a judge, your bank manager, your child's teacher, maybe even a possible partner if you're single. Just be aware of it.
and that is precisely why we're pierced. I (Dave) was addicted to piercings for a while! I had quite a few.....none of which could be seen with clothes on!
I truly love looking at the art work of tastefully done tattoos, Neither one of us have any tats but our kids that another story. T
