Reading another thread just gave me a thought about something I forget I am not happy about with resort, but I only remember this at exact moment I need it. ICE ICE BABY.

Getting Ice for your room isn't always easy depending on the time of day and your room location. Obviously you can go to any open bar and ask them to fill up your ice bucket. But the times I am looking for ice for the room, are the times when most of the bars are closed. Sometimes I like a drink on the balcony while my wife is finishing up getting ready to go out. Or if friends come back to the room after the pool for a shot time! It is a bummer when the sexy pool bars are closed, and you have to go all the way from the 5000s to the quiet pool bar to get ice at 630-7 pm.

I just wished they had one or two ice machines placed in strategic areas.

we agree, sometimes we like to enjoy a drink in the room,we normally get it from the bar but an ice machine per block would be nice.

We take gallon size Zip-Loc freezer bags and I always keep one full of ice in the freezer in the mini-fridge. It's a snug fit but it does fit. We take a whole shit ton of these bags for all kinds of things. Just get your bag filled, when it's convenient, once or twice a day.

I'm normally trying to unload my bag, not fill it up ;)

But seriously, that's a good idea. If you say the gallon size fit, I will defiantly be bringing some.

That's a great idea. I presume there are ice machines around just not on every floor. Curious to know where they are?

No ice machines. You have to take you zip-loc bags to a bar and have the bartender fill it for you. They have always been glad to do it for me.

I thought there were ice buckets in the room. Maybe I am mistaken and used something else in the room like the small trash can...I am sure I washed it first.

I sure hope you washed it because I don't recall any ice buckets. Why would there be if there aren't any ice machines? Speaking of ice stuff Temptation really needs an ice cream parlor.

This is good info - Maybe a good idea to bring 10-15 stone ice cubes and a yeti tumbler? Keep them all in the freezer and use a few for each drink... no chance of bad water/ice that way either!

I don't know. I am pretty sure I was walking all around with a bucket, or a small bin of some kind. I will have to check some pictures when I get home to see what I had going on.

As far as an ice cream parlor, what are you going to do with that? Are you trying to be the middle scoop on a three scoop sundae (hold the bananas)?
