These cans with super heroes on them, the mikes hard strawberry lemonade... They look like cans of fruit punch! My son was in the store with me and saw them and said " Daddy, can I have the Spider-Man drink? " I looked and it was 8 % alcohol !! This seems wrong to me to put cartoons kids love on alcoholic drinks. Any opinions?

Definatly very bad judgement putting cartoons on any booze product if I was a store owner would not have that on my shelf..

Guess this would be different in my state, because in PA they don't sell beer or booze at regular stores. The grocery store does not carry anything alcohol related, and then even our beer distributors are separate from the stores where you can get wine and spirits.

Still wouldn't help though if you brought it home and threw it in the fridge. A kid could unknowingly grab it on their own and open it. Now if I ever bought something that was questionable like that, I would just make sure to tell my kid, or put it somewhere he can't reach. But even easier would be to just not buy something questionable to begin with.

That's what I'm saying!! Shame on the NC Alcohol Beverage control for allowing the sale of something that is attractive to young kids. I just can't for the life of me understand what " genius " thought putting comic book characters our children know on fruit flavored beer was a good idea! I didn't nor will I buy it!! Same comes to mind with the new alcohol infused root beer.. My son loves root beer! But this just makes is all as parents need to be VERY careful.! I just wanted to let everyone know.. Thanks for your thoughts Bro!! Maybe we can get this blatant advevertising to childfrn stopped

What ever happened to the good old days, when Carlton Fisk did TV commercials for chewing tobacco. Or who could ever forget Joe The Camel?!

I don't care if Pudge Fisk chews till his jaw falls off, or if joe smokes till his hump falls off lol.. I do care if Spider-Man gets Liver disease though lol..especially when my boy looks to him as a hero!!
