I see a lot of people complaining on this board about small things at TTR , and Cancun . If it's so horrible.. Don't come, because us that love TTR and love the Boobs Cruise that Steve and his lovely wife provide for us, don't care . Suck it up , and go to a different "boring" resort! I for one am a lifer at TTR and the cruise! I wouldn't give a damn if Steve started charging 300$US , because to me the memories I make on that cruise and at Temptation are worth it. Sorry Steve if I am out of line, I just can't stand to see great things being put down. After all TTR, and you and Janet,have done to make us all feel great again is worth ALOT! You know I use a cane to help me walk because of nerve damage in my leg due to a war injury, but when I get on that Boobs Cruise, it's like all the pain goes away.. Same as when I see everyone at Patio's at night. I'm just saying, I was in a BAD place after the war, and Temptation put my happy spirit back in place... Games at the sexy pool, and Chinos joking with me on the cruise, " he called me a pervert with a cane"I felt like I was back in the happy times in the Army when we joked and everyone had a great time! In my opinion you can't overprice that feeling!! Sorry if I pissed anyone off, but TTR and the Boobs Cruise have made my life better.. I hope it does yours also! BTW, I'm still waiting on a Canadian woman!! Come have drinks with me in April you gotta love Canadian women! So beautiful !!! Ok my rant is over. I expect some nasty replies, but that is fine.. We all need to voice ourselves AJ
We have to agree with you. My wife and I were just at TTR Feb 5-12 for our first time and our only complaint was that we had to leave!!!! Who cares about the small stuff. In the end it makes no difference if some tiles are cracked or a drawer doesn't open/close properly. If that's what your focusing on your missing the whole point and vibe of TTR. We made some great friends while we were there, so many laughs so many great memories. TTR made us feel alive again!!! We have found our place and will return many many more times.
it makes me so happy to hear that you guys enjoyed yourselves , and made great memories if any place can bring you alive again, and make you want to be your true selves, it's TTR! I hope you went on the Boobs Cruise, if not , then next time I bet your already planning your next trip.. I'm glad you both had a great time! Agree. Personally, I don't go for some luxurious holiday. I go for fun. If you're in your room enough to have little things bug you, then TTR may not be the place for you.
exactly!! It's the friends you have , and the friends your going to have that make the experience for you not small problems in the room! Seriously, none of us are in our rooms enough to care.. We are in our rooms for 3 things, to shower, sleep, and ughh you get the picture I'm sure lol
I agree we have the best times at Temptation, we wish we would have found when we were younger. Can't put a price on great times and friends.
Don't kid yourself, the resort reads these posts and the complaints. In the end they will act on their best interest, but if it weren't for the complaints on here, about security ,food,lodgings,, I,m sure TTR would not be what it is today. Glad you don't care about money, maybe you can help out a few people on tight budgets ?? I have been on forums that don't allow negative comments, and its like every one is living in a fantasy world, and the forum are very fake and boring. So maybe negative comments are not good , but they keep the resort in check and the Forum interesting. So to say ,, Don't come if you complain and go to a different resort ,, is just wrong. So just post about your positive experiences , that have been made possible by all the people that have come before you and shaped this resort into what it is today with positive complaints , and yes complaints . We used to judge resorts by the physical appearance, food and amenities. No more. Our criteria is now: 1. Atmosphere/vibe 2. Friendly service 3. Inclusion of all guests in the vibe 4. Drinks 5. Food 6. Physical appearance Frankly, all this talk of rebuilding the place concerns me somewhat. Don't get me wrong, I want them to keep it spotless and make all the needed repairs, but if they turned it into a "lavish" resort, I believe it would impact the vibe, and that's not a trade off that would be acceptable to us. We have been to many 5 star resorts and we just no longer appreciate that atmosphere. I believe that encourages people to also judge other guests, which is what makes TTR special. I will confess that I used to be one of those snobs that would cringe if I saw a chubby girl in a bikini. Now when I see them, I just want to hug them. I am thankful that TTR changed me that way! Sam
Whilst agreeing with Donald that complaints & negative comments can keep TTR in check I feel for the price you pay, certainly from here in the UK, is one of the cheapest for an all inclusive resort in Cancun and you don't get the added extras elsewhere. At the end of the day if you want 5 star service/appearance, pay for it and leave us cheapskates to enjoy ourselves at TTR
Well said Donald. TTR didn't get to be so awesome without a lot of repeated diligent campaigning (and convincing) for improvements by legit lifers, which is continually ongoing. However improvements are a delicate subject as management is very wary of anything that changes the vibe and specialness of Mecca.
