I too really like wine at dinner. We pay @ $40 for a pretty good bottle at dinner. (White) I don't remember the red prices. I also buy wine across the street at the resort for the room.
Huh? There is no Walmart 'geared towards tourists'. It would not be sustainable if it were - with tourists representing maybe 1% of the store's customers. Plus the closest Walmart is still several miles from where tourists stay. Please don't confuse staff asking in English if you need help with anything other than noticing a tourist in an unfamiliar place, and wondering if you need help
Glad I was wasn't the only one, Steve, who wondered about that post. Having been in a few WallyMarts in Cancun, multiple times, I too thought the poster must be confused
yeah!! They ask you if you need help because THATS THERE JOB! Lol the Walmart in Cancun is just as honest as where I live!
wallmart and europa bodego I always pop to walmart on my 1st morning as I come from uk.. to pick up toiletries and some wine,sugar free redbull and strongbow cidar(1usd a bottle). just give you an idea i pay 8 usd for a bottle of zinfandel.which is my favourite.. across the street from wallmart there is a large liquer store with all kinds of wine and liquer at good prices.:beer4:
in the italian resteraunt get the Norton malbec from mendoza its fab and only 12ish dollars its the cheapest i think but fond memories as have been to the vineyard on a trip to south america and have ordered a bottle last two years as had my birthday dinner at the italian. dont forget the sexy coffee:ernaehrung005:
