This is our third trip to TTR and our first time flying AeroMexico airlines. We booked the flight as part of our resort package. It will be a non-stop from Memphis to Cancun. Jason handles all the booking and then I handle the planning and packing. I have been looking up reviews and am worried about the negative ones regarding the airline. I know that you will always hear more bad news than good news, but does anyone here have experience with AeroMexico flights? Any suggestions or tips would be great!
I've flown them many times into Mexico without any problems...I believe they're also a major partner with Delta.
If you check out every airline they mostly all have a lot of negative reviews. We use Frontier and love them. But if you see their reviews they are mostly negative. People are more likely to post a negative experience than a positive one.
I flew on them maybe 4-5 yrs ago and didn't mind them a bit, when most planes don't even offer food they offered up shots of Tequila which I was happy to partake in!
We flew them 2 years ago, non-stop out of NYC. Great service and great price. I believe the last time we were served a free hot meal on a plane was 1991 on our honeymoon. Hey, if we all believed the reviews we have read about Temptations this forum wouldn't exist! Enjoy Paul
Aero Mexico was the charter for FunJet Vacations flights from Kansas City to Cancun on a trip a few years ago (actually the last vacation before we found TTR). Plane was a bit on the older side, but nothing worse than we have flown on with American. Only thing I could say was below par, was instead of loading on the plane via a jetway in Cancun, we had to load onto a bus, then climb the stairs. It was about 100 degrees in the plane during boarding and take off which was not fabulous. I would fly them again if they were non stop from our departure city.
