I need to get my wife to read this thread. We've been to clothing optional resorts and TTR, and had wonderful experiences at all of them, but prior to every trip my wife stresses over body image more than she needs to. I get it, we're both in our 50's and things are not what they use to be, BUT she is still the sexiest 52 year old I know. We are all our own worst critics, and a little insecurity is part of the human condition. Those who are completely void of any insecurity to the point of arrogance are a turn off anyway. A flawed body with a great attitude is sexy, a perfect body without one isn't!
Perfect body doesn't exist in any way because perfection doesn't exist at all. I'm not skinny... Andddd you know what ?? I receive compliment at TTR and few girls on their first trip ask me actually how I was feeling confortable walking around the sexy pool topless. My answer was; you know what ? Here it's the only place where people accept you for YOU. You don't need to be skinny with less than 10% of fat because people don't even care. They won't even look at your body. The people that are judging actually they are not even at the sexy pool. Enjoy, make friend we are all build the same way except some of us as just more to love. I've seen 2-3 girls 2 years agos and they were judging the others... After 3 days they switch hotel because they didn't felt welcome... You don't like what you see. I'm not gonna change for anyone!! How true my body is now in the dad bod category what ever the hell that is. I have a few extra pounds and no longer the hard belly she remembers but so what she still thinks I'm sexy, I always say I have a furniture body that's where your chest falls into your drawers. and the same goes for me she may not be the girl from all those years ago but my woman sure turns me on. It's the confidence in the bedroom that does it for me. We had a similar experience like you did we had a couple of girls passing judgement on others don't think they left the resort but after a few days they and their sad little group were pretty much on their own. That may sound a tad harsh but with their talking they were wrecking the whole vibe of the place people clue in real quick. We've met some real nice people along the way and there's enough negativity in my day to day life, when I go to Temptation I don't need it there so I distance myself from it. I remember one of trips there there was a gal who was in her mid 60's and she was wearing a bikini now at other resorts there'd be negative Nancy's going "OMG can you believe she's wearing a bikini at her age" whereas at Temptation people were saying " good for you for rocking that bikini I hope I'm still doing that when I get to your age" there were a few of us young ones that certainly didn't have the energy she had and she was in every contest going
This is a great thread for us to keep going. This trip is really the first one at TTR that I am nervous about how I will feel walking around the pool. Been 20+times and usually work out like crazy before I go. Well life has got in the way for me the past year and I have gained a lot of weight and have no time or energy in my day to work out. I feel very self conscious but this thread helps. Thank you! Just a reminder how awesome the TTR community is.

Thank you for that. As I man in his late 50's who appreciates women, it's cool to see women of all shapes and sizes, who you know are just regular people with kids, and mortgages, and who you can imagine hanging out around the house in baggy sweatpants and a sweatshirt, rocking nothing but a thong in the daytime, and skimpy dresses and six inch heels at night. Justifies the name of the place "Temptation". If I walked into the place and saw nothing but Victoria Secret models, I would wonder what the hell I was doing there!
I'd probably be thinking yeah this is a dream and the alarm is about to go off and wake me. But I'm with you on that account. I appreciate a real woman and who cares about the little flaws that only she sees. I always get asked about breast lifts or implants to help with the way things are and I always say if it's going to take away from any of your pleasure than its not for me. And as far as implants are concerned I'm not a fan of them. But that's just this guys opinion and in no way is that meant as a judgement to those that have them.
