We will be at TTR for 10 days in April/May. We would like to do an overnight stay on Isla Mujeres. Can anybody suggest a hotel? We will only be there to sleep so we are not looking for anything fancy just clean.
Also, what do you suggest for night time action?
    Thank you in advance!

One of our sons and his gf stayed there a couple of years ago and rave about it. He said that after 5ish, it becomes apparent that you are staying there and the level of service goes up even higher. Sorry, but no clues about nightlife.

There are several really good clubs within walking distance that kind of party all night so something to look at right on Main Street downtown

Weve stayed at Cabanas Maria del Mar many times. We always stay in the new section. Perfect location. Right on North Beach. Many beach bars close by and a 5 min wal to the main strip. Also the price is always cheap. The older building I wouldnt stay in and the new building is called Castle rooms.

What is you're budget? Privilege will be over $150 a night for non AI sort of steep. There is a nice hotel across from the ferry called Bahia Chac Chi. Probably less that half and easy walking distance to all the centro restaurants and night places to go. Also there is Hotel Gomar that sits across from the ferry. Both places get decent reviews and will have availability in May.

Our budget is $100. We don't want an AI as we want eat outside the resort, party outside the resort etc...We will literally be in our hotel to sleep and shower. The rest of the time we want to venture out for a lunch place, supper place, party place, next day breakfast place and then back to TTR craziness!!!

We are in lock step with hola123. we will be double dipping on the room so 100 is about the most I want to spend. The rooms at PA with the jacuzzi tub on the outside balcony look awesome but are a little too pricey.
