We were on the smaller catamaran when we went and I know Steve has since hired a larger boat for the festivities so that may help the cause as well. As I said the morning we went out the water was nice and smooth but coming back the waves picked up pretty good, forgot to mention they had a hurricane warning for when we were down there which got downgraded to a tropical storm. That came across on the Tuesday I think if I recall right or maybe the Wednesday trying to remember as we were talking with our tour rep about this situation. Anyway we were out on the Monday just prior to, in praise of Steve and Janet they did keep everyone well lubricated the party rocking and the entertainment staff have since added Chinos and Omar so the party just got even better. But then again she gets motion sickness on the swan boat at the amusement park.

Thanks for all your help, last time she was on a catamaran it was in Punta Cana and the ocean was very choppy that day. Also, it was not as big a boat as the one Boobs Cruise has. Last time we were at Temptation we saw the cruise arriving and we wished we had been on it! Hopefully with the meds she will be ok and we can all enjoy our first Boobs Cruise!:daveandmo:

WOW! You have lots of options. I guess different medications work on different people. I get nausea from a boat (ruined my whole day in Jamaica!!), being on a plane, driving if I am in the back seat...
Here is my experience: Because I was going to try my luck on the Boobs Cruise I went to the pharmacy to get that patch that people put behind your ear. While I was there I also saw these pressure point wrist bands so I picked up both. I tried the wrist bands on the plane from Montreal to Cancun and for the first time in my life I felt normal coming off the plane!! No nausea, it was incredible, I never felt so good before.
So the night before BC I put the patch behind my ear, within 2 hours I start to feel terrible, I try to fight it but too late, I ripped the patch off in the wee hours of the morning. So before getting on the boat I revert back to the wrist bands. WOW! I come back to life, no nausea and had a great trip.
With that said I recommend picking up a couple options and trying one on the plane, if that works stick with it. If it doesn't the try option 2, 3 etc... I like the wrist bands because there is no medication and no side effects. You can see them here: Sea Band homepage | Sea-Band
Sorry for the long answer but I know how it feels to be sick and I wanted to thoroughly explain what I go through.
    :)
To all you others that don't get see sick you are VERY, VERY LUCKY!!!!

We went on a 21 day cruise to Antarctica awhile ago. We packed regular plain Ginger capsules 500 mg. During the rough seas around cape horn we took 2 capsules every 4 hours and we were the o ly ones not sick on that boat I swear!!!! It even works after you feel sick. We passed out so much Ginger to others!!!! I would try that. Plus the wrist bands work for some.

Have also heard getting a buzz ( alcoholic :) ) as soon as possible works too

Body doesn't know the difference between lose of balance due to drunkenness and being on a boat .

as said above, different things work for different people.

I have taken the sea sick pills ( Dramamine, gravol) , with a 5 hour power shot , and that combination worked well for me .

I always take gravel before getting on the cruise. I somehow have no problem during the cruise. But once we get back I tend to get light headed and feel like still sailing for at least 2 days. Gravel fixed this problem

Right across the street you can pick up Dramamine and she will be fine! Trust me, I made my wife sail for months and she has tried everything ;)

Not the tastiest way to go, but if you are not into pills try a glass of cold water with a pinch of salt and a fresh squeezed lime at the first sign of sea sickness. Organic and safe.
