We had never been to a resort like this. We booked Desire first and then realized that the total nude crowd wasnt for us. Then we booked TTR and were nervous when we got there. The Mrs wasnt sure about topless, and after about 10 minutes at the pool the top came off. Met lots of really cool people and never had any reservations after that.
Thanks everyone for all of the feedback, it was great, and very very encouraging. We looked through the forum a lot last night, reading this thread and all of the trip reports, and have decided we're heading to TTR! Wife is nervous but very excited (trust me, she got excited by the thought of going!). So next question, to keep this thread rolling, when's the best time of year to go, and best time of week. Although I've never been to TTR in June, Dawn ($parkie on here) has an awesome group with the June Junkies. Her and Curtis came to Octoberbreast in 2015 and they were a pleasure to party with I will have to put a vote in for Octoberbreast, we are about 100 people strong. We go the first week of October during the Oktoberfest celebration at Temptation. Great people and great fun! Nikki
June is a wonderful time to go to TTR. The days are longer and there is more sexy pool time during the summer!! The people are fun. The first week of June is the slowest time of June for cancuncare people. The full second week of June amps up the party, and that energy is carried out the rest of the month. If you are considering June, head on over to the June Junkie thread and meet some of the people online before the trip!!! Check out the theme days and nights and see if the June party is something that interests y'all!! We would love to have you join the party. Second Week!!!! Second week!!! Now you tell us!!! We've been there the first week twice already! Still had a blast as I'm sure you could guess.
4 Nights 4 nights will be a great time. You might want make time in your calendar for the option of staying an extra night or two. Trust me!
I'd never been to a topless beach until we went to TTR, we'd talked about it ahead of time and she said she may take her top off. Well I expected we'd check out the lay of the land and after a day or two she'd doff her top, so imagine my surprise when we got pool side after checking in and as I looked around she said can you help me put some suntan lotion on, I turned to her and her top was already off. Needless to say I was a little shocked but also pleasantly surprised. So your wife may go with the intention of leaving her top on and she may decide to take it off part way through or not at all either way no one will make her feel uncomfortable about her choice.
Our first trip was for four days, and after the first day we knew it wouldn't be enough. It won't take you long to figure that out either. It was also our first true "adult" hotel and although Stephie wasn't shy, she was a little reserved at the time being at someplace new to both of us. After finding a couple chairs in the back row between the sexy pool bar and the towel cabana, we settled in for the best place on the planet for people watching other than the hilarity offered at a public boat launch. I had decided not to offer my thoughts as of yet, (a personal record to be sure) and after about ten minutes she turned to me and said, "We are SO coming back!" Then after observing the freedom that many of the ladies were enjoying she peeled off her bikini top. YAY FOR ME! A few minutes after that she made a break for the room and when she came back the public beach bikini bottom was gone and she was proudly prancing back to our chairs sporting a Victorias thong. ANOTHER WIN! In her words, it was very empowering, and in some ways with so many other women just being themselves and feeling free was quite wonderful and she wanted to do the same. A couple days later on the Boobs Cruise one dude explained it to me like this.. "It's pretty hard to try and be somebody else when you're damn near naked." True enough. It seems like your girl is pretty open-minded already. I think you've got nothing to worry about. Bet you wish for extra days though like we all do. As for the best time of year.. There is no bad time and we've enjoyed both June and the first week of December a couple times.
I could never imagine going for just 4 nights. You may and probably will regret that. You are just getting to meet awesome people and feel the vibe. It takes a couple days just to unwind! As far when? ANYTIME is a good time to go to TTR. Just make sure you are there for a Thursday night (lingerie night)
