    We went the week of Memorial Day two years ago (and we're doing it again this year). FWIW, It was really far from dead last time.

    I can say that we have had some interesting first days ourselves (well everyday is interesting but yall know what I mean)...and have heard many stories from others and the dreaded first day curse!!!
