I guess I was getting a little too excited. Major snow happening right now. God's way of letting me know that, although only 60 days from TTR, plenty of time to mess with me!!!
The post-trip blues can last months, just sayin'. Proven methods to successfully counteract this well-known issue are: 1/ Make new friends while at TTR and stay in contact with them after your trip, proximity be damned. 2/ Once home laugh as you do your best to mask the massive grin on your faces when friends and/or co-irkers mention the newfound passion you two display for each other. Ummmmmm, or is it "for others"? Trickle feed TTR info to said friends and/or co-irkers as you see fit. 3/ Book the inevitable second trip asap upon your return home, the pre-trip buzz will easily convert negative energy to positive. Bonus points if you convince friends, but maybe not the co-irkers, to join you.
