So my wife and I will be at Temptations Feb 25 - 1st. I really want to bring down my drone and get some great ocean shots. That's why we buy them, to fly in beautiful places. Keeping in mind the no camera rule, what is your opinion on flying the drone ? I plan to keep it away from the resort and fly on the beach and over the ocean keeping people's privacy high on the list.

    Yes, No ?

    Thanks

I am sure if you went down the beach a bit, or even found a better spot to take it out, you wouldn't have any problems. I just wouldn't advise flying it right on the TTR beach or anywhere around the resort.

Probably cool down by the ferry port that is in walking distance. Lots of boats and activity going on down there.

I agree. On our last Boobs Cruise, we had a drone following us for a while. We just flipped it off and mooned it.

If you fly it early in the mornings on the beach, I doubt anyone would care. People take pictures fairly freely in the mornings. There would be better places to fly it around Cancun, however.

Pretty risky I'd say unless early morning. Which is the most beautiful time for pics anyways. I could see someone taking it the wrong way for sure. I have seen how some people blow up about regular pics.

I would say if it was at any other resort in Cancun. Go for it but at or near TTR property. Not a very good idea! You could be asking for trouble or even damage to your drone by an unhappy guest! U don't want to end up in Mexican Jail if an altercation happens over your drone. Someone posted a video on one of the TTR facebook pages on their flight over TTR. The comments did not go well...:aktion051::aktion051:

Brings up something to think about though--anyone could fly a drone over now! I'd definitely be less concerned about a fellow TTR guest's drone than I would about some outsider with a drone discovering TTR and having no respect!
