Does anyone know if the resort has laundry service (and has anyone used it)? Going for 11 nights in May and my linen pants/shirts always get dirty (can pretty much only wear them one night)...rather than buying more clothes to bring it would be great to just get them laundered.
They do I believe pants were about $3 each. Think that was the highest price for male clothing, according to the card, from what I remember, after a lot of beer
We used to do our laundry at the laundromat beside TTR (by the store to just to the left of the resort as you exit TTR) but it is closed now Was a bit of a break from the 9:00 am Margaritas, lol. Never been one to pay for hotel laundry services.. too pricey in my mind. Heard there was another place close by but no clue where though. Something to be said for convenience using the resort laundry service though
Have never used it myself but there was a couple that was down there that had and they seemed happy enough with the results.
Hotel does have a laundry service and it does work well.. but as others have said, it costs a small fortune to use. You pay for the convince... or do you? Outside the front door, across the street and down by the OXXO and Pizza place is a laundry service where you pay by the kilo. OK.. memory is foggy because I was in party mode at the time but figure one weeks worth of clothes for 2 people might be 15 kilos of about 35 pounds.. jeans weight a lot... anyway to wash and fold them it's like 20 pesos a kilo.. so like 300 pesos or at today's exchange rate $20. Usually done the same day if you drop off in the morning. I've used them and a couple downtown and been completely satisfied every time. Beats the way I used to do it. I used to use the same machines in the parking lot as Scott but I would do it from 3 AM Saturday night, after PadyO's calmed down till 7 AM Sunday morning. Only problem was then Chris had to iron the shirts in the morning.. the Laundry mat presses the shirts so they are good to go. Jamie
