Steve, The issue occurs when you are trying to search for somebody on the Member List. When I meet people during a trip to TTR, and can't exactly remember their profile name (probably from too much alcohol).......it takes FOREVER to scroll through all of the unused member profiles to finally find the one person I am looking for!!!! That's not available under the default admin options. But I've just deleted a lot of unused profiles based on slightly different criteria I have just added these further restrictions to those with less than 5 posts: Can not view member profiles Can not post visitor messages to others profiles Hopefully that might take the '85% success' to 95%.
I just deleted everyone who has zero posts and hasn't logged in for more than a year. This is from the very start and numbers 18,000 people dating back to 2003. Should free up some usernames and also may be reduce the database size a little and lead to smoother running. I'll re-run this every 6 months or so.
Literally sprayed the computer screen with the morning coffee and most certainly laughed out loud. Now if you folks will excuse me I've got a mess to clean up.
Does this also apply to the lifestyle site as well ? There are lots of people that post their adult pics on there but never contribute in any way to the social side of the site . The idea of the site is to gain information about TTR not to use it as your personal on line porn album isn't it ? :daveandmo::flash:
Oops. I didn't note this thread until today... a bit late. Checked my albums and apparently I was a perpetrator. My bad,. I had thought that keeping the nips & naughty bits out was good enough.... but I guess not, eh! If only advertisers weren't so prudish.
