There are Meet and Greets often enough in Ottawa thrown by KS2469 (AFF name). You guys should try and coincide your meetings with that. Although they are in a bar and a bit loud. Or just meet at Obsession
We have been to several of the KS2469 Meet and Greets and do find that they are too loud to be able to actually meet anyone - ironic as it kind of defeats the purpose. Plus, its $50 to get in and it seems they jack up the bar prices for the event. We find Obsessions similarly too loud. Music is more rap and rave type music. If you like that then great. Not for us though.
An upper level Box at a Sens game is a good volume level ,, need about 12 people . $$ I don't know Club Level seats

When I started this thread I wanted to see the interest level for a Ottawa area meet n greet but I wanted to keep the date / venue open to a group consensus...what works for the most people type of thing. My personal thoughts for a date range are late May / June (ish). As for the the venue, I am personally good with just about anything but...we should consider a few things: a loud place place is not conducive to getting to know people when one has to pretty much yell into someone's ear to be heard, a lifestyle club may not work for some either for personal or professional reasons and also a "themed / favourite TTR clothing" event could limit options to the venue (lifestyle club only?). It would be a shame if some wouldn't or couldn't attend because of the venue. I can't see someone not attending because it was NOT at a lifestyle club. As for a potential date it has to be what works for most. IMHO. cheers, Scott
