So, if someone who lives in Mexico visits TTR, do they have to pay in US currency or can they pay in pesos, or would it even matter?
Happen to my boyfriend at another resort in cancun We pay in pesos. The compagny that he book with didn't pay the resort and they close while he was there. !!had to pay in pesos Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
My vote will be Oasis Sens next fall. That does suck. But (not to be controversial here) it's a small price to pay for a MUCH, MUCH decreased risk of getting shot!!! (Living in Canada vs the US)
There are a lot of inexpensive resorts in Cuba, but overall none I would consider amazing or even close to the service levels and food/drink quality in Mexico.
she turned out to be a person I didn't want to spend my life with.. She was a not nice person! She talked shit about TTR, and helped herself to 20 grand of my money LOL.. She was putting on a front, and I don't like fake people!! It's all good though. Better I found out before I married her so yeah.. I'm single. Maybe that right woman will come along one day
Totally agree on Cuba . DR can can give Mexico a good run for its money on the food and resort grounds,, friendly straff.( not going to find TTR party unless you bring it ) But the thread is not about finding an alternative resort , but more that TTR is now priced out of reach for some people , especially CDN,s . Fault of supply and demand created in part by this community and the shitty exchange rate , and resort wanting USD. The last thing we want to do is go somewhere else .
It will be interesting to see the rates at Cuban resorts once us nasty Americans are allowed to start visiting there. Apple Vacations sends me an e-mail once a week touting upcoming things to do in Cuba...........
We've heard similar.....................but still may give it a try someday. The beaches look amazing and we love Cuban food!
