We've met at least 3 couples at different places (TTR, Desires, and here at home) that absolutely rave about these cruises. They go back every year.
Wow. TTR is still one of the least expensive resorts in Cancun though. Where do you plan to go that will be cheaper and anywhere near as much fun?
You guys north of the border are getting screwed, and not in a good way. TTR is the best bang for the buck as far as adult vacations go so I don't know where else you would go. Desire is twice the money. Haven't been to Hedo so I'm not sure how their pricing goes, but it sounds like it is in US dollars too. We did the November Bliss cruise and while it was fun, we paid nearly 3 times what we will pay for our upcoming April trip to TTR. What other options are there? Fwiw we paid 2,350 for 1st week in may with non stops from jfk,ny.
There he's plenty of place to go or to visit. Not just TTR. Personnaly we paid 1600$ cad for both back in september to go to a 5* resort in cuba. Food was decent animation great Drink really tasty and good. TTR is fun but when its start to be overprice well its a rethink. We pay around 3K for a week for.both. For the same.price I can do 2 trips in cuba. TTR was the less expensive for us and he want to go to mexico this year but does it worth the 3K week? IMO ... Definetly not... Let's all face it!!!!! The US$ rules travel all over the world. If someone's finds a better deal with as much fun and we will follow. Canadians remember to exchange $CAN to Pesos before going to MEX! This trip there we a lot les $USD in the tip jar! Please let us know if there are any alternatives.
Hedo is just a lil more than TTR, and not as much fun IMO! A lot of pot, and I didn't like the rooms. Everyone was friendly to me as a single man there, but I felt like I was cheating on Temptation lol
We haven't explored the Cuba market yet but understand there are a bunch of amazing resorts......time will tell....
