OK,Canadians, I have a question.... Where ARE you guys & gals going to go if you don't go to TTR because it's getting expensive? What options are "out there," for the same sort of fun, at a lower price point? We enjoy going to St. Martin, Orient Beach and The Perch bar there (naked-tim in the bar, nifty).... but it is not the same thing as TTR. Cool, but different. We have had plenty of naked-time and boobs-out bodyshotting in the backyard... pool, hot tub, bar... but that isn't the same, either. So... where?
Yes. Most other areas we have checked are around 20% or more expensive than TTR. I doubt we would have as much fun, either. LOL
That's why we bought the membership. I figure that in a few years, TTR will be a members only resort.
A LOT OF GOOD that does ,, the AI fees are in USD,, and are not fixed . ( the op is about the bad usd/cdn exchange) Members only ?? that would suck seeing a lot of members bought in with promises of their Referrals paying for a good portion of their AI fee. prices go in a cycle ,, they will eventually , if not already , price themselves out of the market , and people will go elsewhere, then the vacancy will go up and prices down ,, repeat ,,,,
Hopefully our Loonie will rebound a little and level off somewhere around 80cents to the greenback, which is ideally where it should be. Cuba is cheap, but nothing like TTR there, but with an expanding market into the US, it might be just a matter of time before you see an adult theme resort pop up there. If not, Jamaica creates the same cost problems as TTR, so might have to drop to 1 trip a year.
Definitely not saying there is a better place ,, I for one have only so much ''sin'' money or vacation $$ . 2 or three trip s a year is now out of the question at these rates. Good news it has come back a bit this week . All its going to take is another squirmish in the oil producing Middle east countries , and we will be back in the game . Its only a matter of time. See how fast they can build that pipe line Ofolish cancelled .
We plan on going to TTR twice a year but are looking at substituting a trip to TTR with a "adult" cruise next year. Reviews look awesome on some of them!
