Does everyone take a lot of cash or do you use your credit card some?

Cash for just about everything at Temptation. Maybe the credit card if you want to purchase the wifi. I would definitely call your credit card company to let them know you will be in Mexico to prevent any problems if you decide to use it.

Cash ( pesos ) way easier to negociated in pesos rather than us but i tip in US because i still have over 100 dollar in 1$ bills. Use credit card for wifi only. And keep it for emergency. ( i always bring 2 ) just in case the first one block or something. :)! Then pay all the excursion in pesos worth more in pesos than us for us canadian :)
Keep your credit card in the safe and pay $ for everything! I'm the one who don't want to deal woth my bank while in vacation :)

Always have cash to take a credit card with a minimal limit and my credit card company is notified before I leave the dates I'm going to be there and when I return and if I need to change my limit back they let me do that

What do you need cash for besides tips? Isn't it all-inclusive?

Shopping, excursions, Boobs Cruise, a random red bull from the gift shop, or in case of emergency.

Ahh.... all the incidentals :) Thanks for clearing that up. Was thinking that I'd better take out a loan for drinking money!

Credit cards are easier for restaurants away from the resort, Walmart, the mall (one of us always forgets something), and the duty free at the airport. I am not too concerned about using my credit cards, but very leary of using my ATM. Bringing cash home is fine with me.
