Since we didn't do a package this time (just going with FF miles), our room rate is the highest it's ever been (and we're even using a referral this time) for May, around $210/night...
We averaged $230 per night US for April 2016. The other resorts in Cancun AND Playa have gone up as well. We look at it this way.....to get a halfway decent room in downtown Chicago in Spring/Fall is $175 per night, plus $50 per day to park.....and it doesn't include food, drinks, great pool and nightly party. And even though the beach isn't the best at TTR, still beats Lake Michigan! I think even Vegas would be more expensive when you factor everything in (if you're like us and imbibe your fair share during a vacation) so it's all relative.:icon_surprised:
ya we always do the package deal. Cheaptickets usaully and sometimes Expedia or Travelocity. This trip we are paying $192/night and for last Halloween we paid $146/night. both a little cheaper than the last trips.
Hello everyone Been a while!! I found the price are not too bad for our so worth nothing dollar. We may try something else but it's hard to find a resort with so awesome folks. So the question is, are we going or not going... We try a different resort last september in Cuba, and was relaxing but after 2-3 days I couldn't wait to be home. Really borred resort. I found the price are not really much more expensive than last year. Cames out, the price is less expensive than last year on a referral. oh well, going back to work. =) Jess

I paid $1285.00 for 7 days April 2015 and this year it is up to $2235 for the same dates as last year. That's ridiculous price hike
